Abstract
In this paper, a new type of converter is proposed to meet the requirements of simple circuit structure and high voltage gain. The proposed converter consists of two boost circuits. The proposed converter can work in a wide range of conversion ratios and has continuous input and output current. Compared with other revealed converters, the proposed converter not only has fewer components, but also has higher voltage gain. Moreover, to increase the voltage gain, the basic structure of the proposed converter can be easily extended. Finally, this paper discusses the operating principle, steady state analysis and performance of voltage stress across the components. Simulation of the proposed converter is used by SIMPLIS.
