Abstract
This paper is concerned with the CT power-supply for the monitoring devices such as smart gateways. To ensure the stability and the reliability of the monitoring equipment, this paper proposes a multiple CT system with adaptive power control, which can solve the problem of unstable power supply resulting from the fluctuant current on the high-voltage transmission line. The proposed system can adaptively adjust the number of power transformer circuits according to the amplitude of the current on the high-voltage cable. Hence, the output power can always meet the load demand, which ensures the normal operation of the smart gateway.
