Abstract
This paper establishes a power adaptive energy harvesting system based on magnetic field reverse cancellation to provide power for the monitoring equipment on the transmission line. A current transformer with two secondary coils is adopted in this method. One coil induces current from the magnetic field generated by the current on the transmission line to supply power to the load, and the other coil draws current from the load. After inversion, a magnetic field opposite to the original magnetic field is created in the magnetic core to cancel the original magnetic field to a certain extent to achieve the self-adaptive energy harvest. Therefore, when the current of the high-voltage transmission line varies in a large range, the system can adjust the acquired power to ensure the normal operation of the load. The effectiveness of the proposed method is verified by means of numerical simulation.
