Abstract
Experimental and simulational researches of disruption mitigation were conducted in J-TEXT to explore the dynamic mechanism and mitigation method of disruption. Among this researches, multistage minor/major disruption was studied by numerical simulations. For the sake of comprehending effects of plasma current density profile on disruption profoundly, simulations of supersonic molecular beam injection(SMBI) of argon gas into J-TEXT plasma with different distributions of plasma current density profile are performed with the 3D magnetohydrodynamic(MHD) code called NIMROD. In this paper, different current density gradients are realized by changing the safety factor to change the distribution of current density profile. The result indicates that the distribution of current density profile can affect MHD behaviors, which have a significant impact in minor disruption.
