Abstract
The compact terahertz free electron laser light source requires high quality of electron beam. It is a challenging task for operators to tune the control parameters manually, which appears to be neither efficient nor effective. Thus, a software framework, the sequential decision-making framework, has been developed so as to well utilize existing tuning methods and newly emerged intelligent control techniques in the accelerator control community. The framework can serve as a platform for the development, test and demonstration of different control algorithms, thus paves the way for intelligent accelerator control. It can also support normal tasks like automatic emittance measurement and remnant magnetism removal of quadrupoles.
