Abstract
In this paper, the influence of load on the transient characteristics of capacitive voltage transformer is studied. The CVT secondary side generally has four windings, and the different loads of each winding on the secondary side will directly cause the CVT measurement error. Under the same transient overvoltage condition of the CVT input, the influence of different loads on the secondary output waveform of the CVT is measured, and a network analyzer is used to measure the scattering parameters in each case and convert it into a transfer function to analyze the results. The results show that at frequencies under 9kHz-50kHz, the measured waveform of the secondary side decreases with the increase of the load, and the change of cosφ=1 is more obvious than the change of cosφ=0.8. At the same time, the transfer function obtained by the measurement and calculation also decreases with the increase of the load.
