Abstract
Based on mechanism analysis of proton exchange membrane fuel cell (PEMFC), a semi mechanism and semi empirical steady-state simplified model is established by adopting reasonable and necessary assumptions, which helps the study of fuel cell polarization curves. Taking external conditions such as temperature, pressure and current density as variables, the model identifies fitting parameters by linear regression according to the experimental data, which proves its strong universality and generalization ability. In order to further study the output characteristics of PEMFC, a dynamic model is established in Matlab/Simulink to reflect the changes of output voltage and internal gas components. Considering different operating conditions and current requirements, the model is conductive to optimizing the structural design of the PEMFC, improving its operating performance and developing a real time control system.
