Abstract
Generally, the traditional proportional feedforward control strategy of power grid voltage is adopted for shunt active power filter (SAPF). However, under weak grid conditions, this strategy is susceptible to the influence of grid impedance. So the stability of SAPF decreases significantly with the increase of power grid impedance. The power grid voltage feedforward strategy based on second order generalized integrator (SOGI) ,which is used to obtain the fundamental wave for feedforward in this paper. The output impedance characteristics of SAPF before and after using this strategy are compared in detail. This strategy can greatly enhance the stability of the SAPF under weak current network and make SAPF output stably in compensation band. Finally, the effectiveness of the improved strategy are verified by simulations and experiments.
